Aya Wat is social science researcher and writer with training in private security in Quebec, Canada.

Results of eGal Site online survey with 208 Canadian residents about the local security in their communities, given special attention to the very modern after COVID-19 pandemic theme about the cooperation of public and private security and the privatization of some of the tasks, which were traditionally prerogative of public security only. The survey was hosted by Amazon MTurk in 2023. It was completely anonymous, without any tracking of the participants. The only information we have is the one they wrote as answers to our questions.
